I met Miriam and Karl around a year ago. They drive over an hour to met me, they wanted to book me as their wedding photographer. I remember very clearly the excitement I felt as they told me about what they were planing for their wedding. When they left, I said to Michael I want to be their best friends… in a non stalkerish way!! They were very passionate about having a day that represented who they are. They wanted to create their vision by working with people they genuinely connected with and this really shone through on their day. Every body was amazing and so nice to work with so this really pad off!
Miriam and Karl choose to get married in a Utilitarian Octagon Chapel in Norwich, it was the most stunning building and the ethos of this church is just beautiful and I had tears streaming down my face as I photographed Miriam walking to Karl with the sounds of gospel singer Laura White filling the church with her beautiful voice.
After the ceremony we traveled to the stunning Fairhaven Water Gardens where we all walked through the stunning woodland to the edge of the Norfolk broads where we had afternoon tea and took boat rides taking in the glorious scenery. We were very surprised by the rain that came rolling in, but this didn’t bother Miriam and Karl, they literally danced in the rain and had the best time. When it rains, usually the sky is AMAZING at sunset and it really was. The evening was just as amazing we all walked further into the woods where we were seated for dinner in a spectacular marquee and had the most divine dinner by the extraordinary caterers The Main event. The evening was such a fun party with the Jo Ringer band playing.
I loved every second of this wedding, I am sure you will also enjoy looking at their wedding story! You can also view the music slideshow here but you will need to be on computer SLIDESHOW.
